hi there im a newbie…can anyone help?
i am tryting to connect to putty as I have the ATV2 JB on 4.4.4 crash loop (where it reboots all the time) problem…
However when i enter the IP address into putty it says after around 10 seconds network error connection timed out…all virus protection is turned off…
i have checked all steps but cannot seem to get to the login page…
My Apple TV 2 which is jailbroken on 4.4.4 has the rebooting loop problem…whenever it is connected to internet it crashes leaving it useless…please help

Hi thanks for reply…but that doesnt seem to be my problem…my problem is i now get the “server unexpectdly closer server connection” message everytime i put in the Apple tv 2 ip address…any ideas anyone?
I think it is the same problem. Just try the solution:
Re-jb your ATV again then ssh to appletv using a terminal program like putty. As soon as you have the #root in your screen type passwd This will allow you to change your password (type the new password and retype it again). You’re done.
