Squeezebox Server/Center on 1st Gen aTV

I was suprised that no one had asked for this already.

It is easy(free) to setup Android/iPhone Squeezebox app to control a Squeezebox Server.

Mac/PC/Linux flavors available at Some Software Beta Downloads

It needs 80-100 meg RAM.  Also need space for MySql and Perl too.

 

Is it doable?

 

 

( I detest iTunes and though this would be an elegant/minimal solution.)

I second that. I am sure there is a way. The Logitech media server is a system settings app, so I am not sure how to approach that. I think Afp has to be enabled to talk to a device like the squeezebox touch? All I know is if this can work, I don’t have to buy a Mac mini next to the appletv Gen1.
