I recently observed this issue where some of the covers are not the real artwork from the Blueray or movie poster, but instead just a collage of screenshots of the file.
I deleted the artworks and selected the metadata again, but they come back as before. It is not for all movies, just randomly ones.
Is this a bug?
Thank you!
If you have Prefer Embedded Artwork turn on it may be pulling it from within the file. Try turning it off.
I am having this same issue as well. I checked the Prefer Embedded Artwork setting but it was already off so I toggled it on and then off again. doesn’t seem to work… what else can I try ?
It may be coming from your server if you’re using Plex, Emby or Jellyfin. Otherwise the only places Infuse will pull posters from is from TMDB, Embedded in the file, or a graphic file is included in the same directory as the video.
thank you, this is helpful. in my case, I realised that the jpg in the folder did not contain the actual poster art but the screencaps instead. I will try deleting the jpg so that Infuse can automatically show the poster art.

Thank you! For me there was also a jpg in the same folder as the movie file.
Solved!
