SMB Connection Limit?

I’m having trouble connecting to the shared folders on my Windows XP Media Center. I’m only able to gain access to the first 10 shared folders through the Media Player, and then permission is denied (error 13) to the rest. (the same phenomenon occurs when I try to connect with XBMC) It seems as though I’m running into a Windows SMB connection limit. Do I have something configured incorrectly?

It sounds like some folders may be shared, while others are not. Do all the folders have the same sharing permissions?

They all have identical sharing permissions. I can see all the shared folders in the My Files list, but I’m only able to access 10 of them.

Does anybody have a similar setup that’s working for them: Windows XP Media Center with shared movie folders; able to access more than 10 of them?
