With version 8 being released I hope that this suggestion for a Smart TV Show Playlist may get some attention and as an Infuse enhancement without the need for Plex/Emby/Jellyfin.
Just an Infuse purist.

Has anyone that uses Infuse only devised a way to do this?
It seems odd that there aren’t many users that have a core group of TV shows they follow and this would sure make it much easier.
I think you can do this with Plex smart collections, and then consume within Infuse. Check out what the OP said here. Seems like a similar use case to what you’re trying to do.
Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion but I don’t use Plex or any other server software. I prefer that Infuse handle this by itself without having to use additional apps. 
This is the time of year when so many TV series are starting a new season it’d be great to have the ability to see when shows have new episodes but not display those without new unwatched.
Seconded - would love a feature like this to keep track of series I watch with others that automatically adds when new episodes/seasons come out!
