After updating Infuse to the latest version, it takes a long time for content to populate after opening the app or update when new media enters my library. Before the update, it was nearly instant, but now it can take 10-20 seconds. During this time, I observe “Fetching Up Next List” in the library settings within the app. I am on the same network as my Plex server.
Around the time of the update, I did change some unrelated (to my knowledge) Plex settings. But I’m almost 100% sure this behavior started with the Infuse update. It is not only my device, my friends also have slow loading times connecting to my server as well with the new update.
I would be happy to provide any information required. If there are any Plex server settings that would influence this loading time I can also try changing those.
EDIT:
My friends and I have found what seems to be the cause, and it really is wild. If we turn off Wifi and open the app, the behavior is instant as normal. However, with Wifi enabled, it goes back to taking a long time to load. So:
Wifi enabled → slow load
Cellular → instant load
