'Skip Recap' button shows up when recap is not part of video

Hello. So, I happen to trim out all of the episode recaps from the beginning of my video files as personal preference. Earlier I noticed a ‘Skip Recap’ button was showing up during playback and I am guessing this is from the new IntroDB support. Is there a way to disable using these sources? Since i trim recaps out I don’t want the buttons showing up at the wrong timestamps (or at all with the skip recap button).

I use Direct Mode with Plex.

Cheers

To follow up, in this instance the specific episode/TV show does not have an intro, so the Plex generated markers don’t seem to affect the Skip Recap button being present.

Just a guess but if you’re modifying the files then your only real choices are to either set the Skip Intros & Credits to On and just ignore then button until it passes or turn Skip Intros & Credits off.

Yeah, that seems to be the only two choices for now. Either will get annoying pretty quick, so hopefully an option to utilize those sources can be considered.

Additionally, I just checked another series that has intro’s present, but with recaps trimmed out, and even with Plex’s markers being present the erroneous ‘Skip Recap’ button shows up.

I utilize the Skip Intro button quite frequently, so turning it off isn’t really an option, and leaving it on with a button popping during the opening scene is incredibly distracting :frowning:

I’m having an issue where Infuse’s IntroDB markers are overriding the Plex markers present. More specifically with the Skip Recap button. I went into more detail in the post below. I’d prefer if I’m using Plex to not have extra markers added from Infuse’s side of things.

I moved your post back to this thread. Since the skip recap function was introduced before the 8.4.3 in 8.4 it’s best not to have an issue covered in that release specfic thread. Better to keep it all in one place.
