I’m using a Plex server and the feature is working, but it should have a small delay like it does on the Plex app (they do a 5s delay), or it just skips too soon.
The skip button was implemented a few seconds before the intro actually starts so the user knows it’s coming and they can click it as soon as it starts, it wasn’t intended for an automatic skip, so a small adaptation is needed.
I’m using Parks and Recreation Season 2 (any episode) for testing, but this is valid for any show. This show is a good example because they use a “cut to intro” right after a joke. With the current implementation, it cuts to intro mid joke.

An option to have a delay when automatically skipping intro is now available in today’s 8.1.8 update.
