Singular Lonely File Bug

So I’ve noticed this bug been around for quite a while but didn’t report it sooner because I assumed it was just either random or based on the file name.

My directory structure on my WebDAV cloud host is such:

Root > Movies > 2000

Root > Movies > 2001

Root > Movies > 2002

etc etc.

Root is not a folder, it’s the empty space that exists before folders are created. I’m just using it for representation.

The bug happens like this. If I add a new movie, for example, Rush Hour 1998, and I put it in Movies > 1998, and there are NO OTHER movies in that folder, two things happen:

  1. Rush Hour does not show up in the main screen under recently added movies.
  2. Rush Hour does not show up when browsing on infuse through the library either.
  3. If I move Rush Hour to another folder that has movies, e.g., Movies > 2001, then the above two issues solve themselves.

So it seems that a single media file inside a folder all by itself is the bug.

Have you tried turning off “Smart Folders”?

I don’t think I enabled this to begin with.

Going to have to remove my shares and see.
