In fullscreen when you switch to icon only sidebar first of all there is a little graphical glitch appearing. Second, after closing and reopening Infuse the sidebar is still in icon only mode but with the size of the sidebar with text.
What I don’t get here, is why don’t the software tester see this. I basically just started the new Infuse version and saw it within 30 seconds.
Sometimes I got the feeling that the Infuse testing team is not checking the standard functions before every version release (simple things like maximizing windows, open menus, select multiple items etc. in Infuse to assure that the standard features are still working as usual).
My feedback as a longtime Infuse Pro user is that the version releases lack consistency in quality.
sure thing. First picture is the wrong size of the sidebar after every start of Infuse. Second picture (I made a screen record but unfortunately I can’t upload the .mp4 so here’s another screenshot) is the graphic glitch (the white part over the mouse pointer) which appears in light and dark mode.
I am running on a Mac mini M4 Pro (Tahoe 26.0.1). My screen resolution 3008 × 1692.
just wanted to write that I have the same problem. Every time I start Infuse the sidebar is comically large. To work around the problem I need to click on the three dots in the sidebar twice. Even if I switch to the larger sidebar (with text), Infuse does not remember the sidebar width. Personally I would also like an option to hide the sidebar altogether. Usually I do not use it at all.
Thank you to @SteGi82 and @tonymoses for reporting this bug. Honestly, I thought that every macOS 26 user had the same problem and that it was just a matter of a few days for fireCore to fix this issue.
macOS 26 seems to be a specifically bad OS when it comes to the GUI though. I never saw so many (reproducible) graphical glitches in a macOS version in my 20+ years of using a Mac .
