Now that we can manually change refresh rates on the Apple TV 4k, I would love to be able to see on the screen next to the file resolution and audio data, the frame rate.

This is particularly relevant in Europe, where it because of the PAL encoding system is common with both 25 fps and 24 fps for movies. The Apple TV settings should ideally be adjusted respectively for best result.
It sure will be a cumbersome user experience to manually check the movie file in MediaInfo or similar every time.

Its irrelevant information. Your TV should handle it if you have framerate matching enabled by the AppleTV. “Oh wow, its XX FPS, I cant do anything about it, but good to know”
I agree that this is now irrelevant, given the auto frame-rate switching of the Apple TV.
