Setting buittons stays Firecore logo

On a recent ATV2 JB, I noticed that the Settings button was changed to red Firecore.  Somewhere I read that it goes back to the normal after a few reboots.  Well mine has never gone back and I must have rebooted it 10-15 times now.  Does it ever go back?

That firecore logo mean your ATV2 is JB completed, it will gone will you install xbmc or NitoTV on it.

Not so.  I installed XBMC right after the JB and have rebooted a number of times.  In fact, XBMC is only real reason I got ATV2s.

I have the same problem, the FC icon remains the same after several reboots, but I didn’t install XBMC or Nito, because when I intalled previous JB version the MANAGE BUTTON was available right there on the desktop of the ATV2. So WHY do we have to install XBMC or NITO this time??

So HOW can we get it to work like our previous versions? I had version 4.44 on one and 5.01 on the other one ATV2?

Can someone at Firecore let me know please? All your previosu updates worked like a charm for me, what’s the difference with this Version 5.02?

Thanks

UPDATE. I just figured out what was my problem…I forgot to install my ATVFlash Black so I could get my Manage Icon.

sorry!

So my Settings button still is red and FC logo ad never did go back to standard grey Settings. It’s been long enough and number of reboots. Firecore, Can you please give me a response, will this ever go back?

Same here. Have restarted the aTV2 four times after a successful JB w 5.2.

Still no fire core settings, only apple settings w red FC logo.

  Silly me - forgot to run the aTV flash (black) installer !

The rebooting so many times is not the answer cuz I know this particular one has been restarted at least 10 times since the jb. I’m beginning to believe its a permanent thing. But why won’t of you firecore guys chime in?

I’m not from FireCore, but I have not seen you confirming that you have installed ATV Flash via the installer on your PC/Mac?  This is the step that normally causes the FireCore logo to disappear and the FireCore Maintenance app to appear.

No I have not. I use xbmc to access my ISO file on my server. Don’t see the use for me for it. It’s not a big deal, just want to know if its supposed to go away.

This Should help.

Thanks, will give it a try later this week.

By the way, I damn near put a hole in my lcd monitor trying to get that nat walking around until I realized he was trapped in a invisible fence limited to your avatar.

setting logo is restored to default once firecore flash is installed. you can also manually install nito and then manually install atv flash via nito and install the maintenance from there.
