One thing I’d like to see in an upcoming version of Infuse is support for sending surround audio by default over AirPlay. Currently, all of my movies are in iTunes-compliant M4V files, meaning that they include both a 2-channel AAC track, as well as a 5.1 AC3 track for the AppleTV. Whenever I play videos in Infuse, I have to manually select the surround track and click through a warning message that the surround audio may not play properly (even though it always does). I realize I could probably make this issue go away by switching to Infuse full time for playback and stripping out the AAC track, but I’d prefer to retain maximum compatibility if possible.
