I find it weird that the latest release of Seas0nPass is being advertised as untethered, yet the instructions for jail breaking still require you to connect the ATV to your Mac with a micro USB … what do they mean by untethered then??

You have to use a micro usb cable to do the jailbreak but it is not needed after the jailbreak…ie untethered
Once it is jailbroke just connect it to the tv via hdmi + power cord

If so the steps for a Tethered Jailbreak are only if an untethered jailbreak is unavailable.
