Any idea’s how to solve this ?

i redownloaded everything  cleared the /private/tmp/tk folder…

it seems to happen on every mac…   is there a solution yet from the firecore devs ?

Probably best to open a support ticket and send in your full log.

Once again a 4.4.2 tutorial has been released using the same MAc version of seasonpass that do not allow a boot tethered (it keep saying the 4.3 is untetehred so the tetehred is not needed) I did try again with the 4.4.2 and downloading the mac version for my macbook 10.6 still boot tethered is greyed out (win works perfectly but I only have a macbook to perform the tehtered boot) anyone?

The jailbreak process will create a number of files required for the tethered boot. This means you will need to jailbreak the AppleTV using the computer you wish to use for the tethered boot.

Thanks and that’s what I thought to do but still on my 10.6 the process stop just after the unzipping while on Patching Ramdisk, i  understand other users are in my same situation…any help or news?

Same problem for me… Running SeasonPass 0.7.9 on Mac OS 10.6.7 on my macbook - creating the IPSW gets stuck on “Patching Ramdisk”… Downloaded & installed seasonpass 0.7.9 & the 4.4.2 update from Apple on my Windows XP desktop, which was able to complete the IPSW creation & iTunes restore - both successfully. However, I can’t move my desktop into the living room to perform the tethered boot. So, back to the macbook to run the tethered boot - but it tells me that the tethered reboot is not required for 4.3! (seems this is a moot point, because i need to perform the tethered boot on the same machine that created the IPSW & performed the restore).

I have, by the way, checked the other postings for the ‘Patching Ramdisk’ issues - & I don’t have the /library/PlugIns folder on my machine at all.

So - i can’t proceed until either an untethered boot is available or the ‘Patching Ramdisk’ issue is resolved.

Can you send in your Seas0nPass log file (Open Seas0nPass and choose ‘Show log in Finder’ from the Seas0nPass Help menu).

James - many thanks for getting back to me… I’ve attached the log file to this post.

Thanks - we’ve had one other report of this same issue as well. We’re looking into it and hope to have a fix soon.

It may be helpful to open a support ticket, that way we can get more information (if needed) and have you try a ‘fixed’ build to see if it resolves your issue.

I am having the same problem. I’l try again tomorrow on my Macbook and send in the log if it hangs up again. Interesting. I tried the process on my IMac earlier today with a fresh download of both needed files and got all the way for the tethered boot in 10 minutes. However, I could not get downstairs to do it in time and it wanted to only recognize 4.3 when I plugged into the power cord and reopened SeasonPass on my Macbook. So yes, whatever occurs, it has to be on the same machine for the whole process. I may just take my Imac off my desk and take it downstairs tomorrow and see what happens, but I sure would like the Macbook resolution instead. Also noticed that when I downloaded Seasonpass on my IMac it was a zip file and on my MAcbook it was not a zip file. Reason? Also, on the Macbook, with new download, why is Seasonpass preferences showing a 4.3 version? On the Imac, it shows the 4.2.2 version. I think I am going to put the zip version on my Macbook and see if that makes a difference. Both show version .7.9
