When jailbreaking my atv2, I found that if I happened to have iTunes running, seas0n pass would force quit it and then restart it when it was time to restore the firmware. I understand that seas0n pass probably can’t have a copy of iTunes running while it’s doing whatever it’s doing, but surely it ought to be possible for it to issue a “Quit” command to iTunes rather than force-quitting it.
I have a very large iTunes library. When iTunes is force-quit on my machine, the library has to be rechecked by iTunes. Because of my large library, that process takes at least a half an hour, which is a drag. That could be avoided if seas0n pass simply issued a “Quit” command to iTunes.
