The search bar appears at the center of the screen since 8.5.4 and tvOS 27.
Did you try 8.5.5?
This is a known tvOS 27 system bug that we are working to find a workaround for. This was mentioned in the 8.5.4 release notes.
Didn´t know it’s a known bug.
We were hoping Apple would get around to fixing it before the public release, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
I’ve tagged this as in progress for now to provide a bit more visibility in case other people run into the same issue.
This should be resolved in today’s 8.5.6 update.
