In Infuse 8, for some reason when I ask my Apple TV 4K (either Gen 1 with black remote or Gen 2 with silver remote) to scroll through a long list of movies, say to get from A to M, when I finally get there, the interface snaps back to “A” movies. It does this all the time and it’s so bad that I’ve had to stop using Infuse and go back to Plex. Help!
Are you using the swipe on the remotes or have you turned that off and are using clicking only?
This is the swipe for fast scrolling. If I click line by line, it’s ok. But that’s painfully slow to do in a long list.
I came here looking for reports of this issue. I also have this, though for me it’s when I hold the down button to quickly scroll (with the latest Apple TV remote and a universal remote).
I’m I direct mode via Plex. When scrolling, the posters haven’t loaded so it’s scrolling placeholders, then when I stop, like OP, mine pops back up to the last loaded posters, usually mid-way through the As. If I scroll back down to where I previously stopped, the posters are loaded just for those, and sometimes it stays there but sometimes it pops back up to the As a second time.
This has made Infuse extremely frustrating to use. If there’s any more information I can give or steps I might take to help resolve this issue, please let me know.
This happens on a 2nd and a 3rd gen Apple TV 4K both on latest tvOS and Infuse as of this post.
Edit: I don’t remember this happening when Infuse 8 was initially released, but it’s definitely done it since at least 8.0.3.
