At some point the issue listed here was reintroduced. I’m not sure when, but it exists in 8.3.7 and in 8.3.8 released today. The issue is identical to the previously fixed issue which could mean it is a code regression.
Also seeing this on version 8.3.8 in direct mode. Using Jellyfin.
I had originally posted this bug that @fatherfork just pointed out. I can confirm that it is happening to me too. Probably a piece of code for the fix that was left out of 8.3.7/8.3.8? My situation is Plex, not Jellyfin.
Came here to +1 this issue in direct mode, Jellyfin. Newest Infuse, newest tvOS. Wife believes it’s happening for longer than a month.
Adding that I’ve been having the same issue (Plex, not Jellyfin), and my current version is 8.3.9
This bug still exhibits as of 8.4 (5582).

Would you be able to try removing and re-adding the media server?
You may also try clearing metadata in Infuse > Settings > General.
Clearing metadata and finally removing and re-adding the Jellyfin server did not resolve the scrolling issue. Btw, I’m on the latest tvOS26.4
Are you speed scrolling by holding down the up/down button?
Yesterday, I updated to TvOS 26.4, checked to see I’m running Infuse Pro 8.4 (5582), removed the Plex server, deleted metadata, and restarted the AppleTV. Added Plex server back.
Still having the same problem. There’s a quirk that may be new; *sometimes* when I scroll and stop, the screen displays correctly (i.e. if I stop at ‘S’ then titles beginning with ‘S’ show). But as soon as I move the cursor, I’m taken to the top of the page again. Almost like the cursor is staying at the top of the page.
The behavior seen by @r0dya matches my experience as well.

I have removed and readded my media server as well as cleared metadata. This is still an issue. I’ve tried both Plex and Jellyfin at this point as well.
It happens when holding the down button and rapid scrolling. When I let go of the button, the list will snap back up toward the top and I have to scroll again.
Sometimes when I let go of the button, the list won’t snap immediately, but the cursor on the alphabet list on the right will fly back up to the top and as soon as I push any button, the list will snap back up to the top.
Current InFuse Pro on an AppleTV. Plex server on a Mac.
For the last month or so, whether I’m using Library mode or the server favourite, I can start at A, hold scroll to get down to J (or any other letter), let go, try to cursor in any direction and it goes back up to A and the last movie highlighted there.
If I just go a few rows at a time, no error, but when you’re trying the big scroll to another section of your collection, it happens every time.

I’m having issues scrolling in my Jellyfin libraries on iOS. Scrolling before a first playback seems to work fine, but starting a movie and then exiting back to the library, I can’t scroll down far. When new items load it jumps up to the last played movie.
This has been an issue for multiple versions, I don’t remember exactly which version started this.
When recreating the bug with Console attached, I found some suspicious errors:

When I test on another Jellyfin server on the same version, I can’t replicate the bug.

Jellyfin version: 10.11.6
FYI just tried 8.4.1 with the same scrolling issue.
Same issue here on 8.4.1 on Apple TV, running media from a Plex server. I have a fairly large library.
Having same issue with latest Infuse version on AppleTV. Tried removing server and re-adding. Issue persists.
Hi, been having exactly the same issue as r0dya every time I browse very large libraries. I sometimes don’t experience it with smaller libraries, although it’s very random with those too

Yup. Still an issue on 8.4.1 and tvOS 26.4 on all 3 Apple TV 4ks in the house. This is very easily reproducible.
