Save metadata cache to media folder

I would like to see a setting that would allow the movie image and metadata cache to get stored on the media folder vs the internal memory of the apple tv.  I have several apple tv’s and I have to re-cache the information on each when I add new content.  Managing the metadata from one location makes life much easier.  You could also store the recently played information on the media folder as well so I could pause a movie on one apple tv and watch it on another…

 

Thoughts?

It would be so nice… plus no more “gathering metadata” delays.  Also, backing up settings to this folder would be great as well.   :wink:

I only have internet for 4 hours a day. This would be perfect.

Currently, I use @ViMediaManager.
