Infuse is having trouble finding the correct meta. It’s about a series called Tsunami from 2024. There are several series that are both released in 2024. What can I do to make it choose the right one?
You can select edit metadata if it’s incorrect and then you should be able to select the correct one from a list.
Can you tell us which one is the one you want from here?
I don’t want to do it manually. I want it to find it automatically. I have also set it to Danish. It just surprises me that the series it finds is not translated into Danish on TMDB. Hope that makes sense.

How do you have the file named?
It may not be possible for Infuse to find the correct show when there are multiple series with the same name and year.
It’s really easy to fix with the edit metadata function and once you fix it on one episode then Infuse will recognize it for all of the rest of that series and future added episodes. Not difficult at all.

I know it’s easy to do manually. But shouldn’t it be done manually on each individual device?
I’m pretty sure that Infuse will sync the change to all devices on that Apple user ID.
Looking at that show it appears that it was just added in the last day so it may take a few days for it to populate from TMDB.
The bigger problem is that it doesn’t appear to be a TV series, it looks like it’s a movie even though it’s on TV it can still be a movie.
There is already a movie that sounds like this but under a different language.
If you are the one who entered the Danish one on TMDB just be aware that it may disappear if the staff sees it’s a movie and not a series.
How many episodes do you have for that show and do you have a link to their official website?
It has also only just been added. I have done that myself. This is the first episode of two. The next episode will not be broadcast until a week from now. Therefore it may well look like a movie now.
Maybe we’ll have to wait and see what happens with TMDB.
I’d recommend you at least add episode two to TMDB and also the official link if you haven’t already.
If it stays, then give it a couple of days for it to get disseminated from TMDB and then do an Edit metadata and see if your entry is provided as one of the available choices. If so then choose it and all should be good.
You’ll have to do an edit metadata since once Infuse fills that info it doesn’t constantly check it for changes, that needs to be triggered by the users.
