If I pause playback with my AirPods Pro (clicking stem), when I try to resume playback (via AirPods) my MBP 16" doesn’t resume playback…instead it opens the native music app.
Resuming via spacebar or play button is of course fine.

Yeah it’s the same for me it’s so dame annoying
But that’s a problem, that is not only showing up with Infuse/Mac. You get same behaviour with any other video service/streaming service (had this problem also with Amazon Prime and Netflix). And on the iPad as well. It seems, that Apple here prefers their own Music app, when the AirPods are sending a play/restart request.
This has been resolved in today’s 7.2 update.
