I’ve used the new tvOS 26.2 multi-profile feature to set up different OS profiles for me and my kids on my Apple TV, and used the latest Infuse 8.3.6 to link each OS profile to the corresponding Plex profile. This worked perfectly: my kids are configured as restricted managed profiles in Plex, and Infuse correctly shows them only the media items they are allowed to see.
The problem however starts with the fact that tvOS doesn’t seem to provide a way to restrict access to my OS profile. So when the kids are not happy with the content of their library, nothing prevents them from switching to my OS profile, open Infuse and see things they are not yet supposed to see. The only way I found to restrict that was to enable Infuse Parental Controls for my OS profile, but I also had to switch to library mode to make that work.
Am I missing a simpler way to restrict the content? Is there any way to make it work while still using the direct mode?
