No - there is no current jailbreak for the Apple Tv 3.
I know that, but i’m saying restoring it to 5.3 won’t do anything?
All that will do is get it onto 5.3 firmware! Since you cannot jailbreak it I cannot see any advantage over being on the 6.x series firmware.
