Reorder Favorites on Home Screen

Howww is this still an issue so many years later? Please Firecore, you’re our only hope! I just want to put my non-library Movies folder first in my favourites! It would make such a big difference.

I too would like to see this option, it’s a little nutty the way it orders them.

I have “Movies - By Age Rating” pinned to Infuse’s home screen in the AppleTV app. Mostly so I can easily access kid-appropriate movies (G and PG rated movies).

However, the categories are sorted in alphabetical order which feels unintuitive.

Example: G, M, MA 15+, NR, PG, R

I think the order would make more sense if the age rating increases as you scroll through the categories.

Suggested order: G, PG, M, MA 15+, R, NR

Or is there some other way to easily browse only G and PG movies?

Thanks!

You can also pin individual age ratings to the home screen so you could have only “G” and “PG” on the home screen if that would help.

I’d love this feature, especially now that we have direct mode - I can use it to easily look at my libraries helping infuse have feature parity comparison to the main Plex/Emby/Jellyfin apps.

I know I can monitor the libraries through favourites now, but having them in my minds “correct order” would definitely make infuse better.

I know this is old thread, but adding spaces in front of favorite names does indeed work. I’ve been doing it for years

This solution seams a bit hacky for my liking. I also have 8 favourites, all in a completely wrong order, this will only work for 1 of them. I’ve also thought about putting numbers in front for the order I want the favourites in, it’s still not as being able to move my favourites around via the UI, plus it looks a bit janky.

Definitely hacky, but for each extra space you put in front that favorite will go first.
For example, _ _ _TV _ _Kids _Movies will show in that order. I think I have 6 of them that way and it seems the spaces don’t actually show or move the title away from center. It really seems like a simple fix that should have been implemented pretty much from the start.

I think you should try again. We are several people here where it works just as explained.

It definitely works, it’s just a hacky workaround rather than it being a feature.

it would be great if the order of favourites (on Apple TV) could be changed easily rather than having to put a number or letters in alphabetical order or spaces.

I moved your post to an already running thread requesting this feature.

Don’t forget that you need to click the like button on the first post in this thread to show your support for this suggestion!

This is now available in today’s 8.1.8 update.

Simply long-press on a favorite to change the order.
