Refreshing when Plex media moved or deleted

I wondered yesterday what is the single bug I’d like to see fixed in Infuse:

I hit play and I get “An error occurred with the content - HTTP 503”. If I try with Plex, it works fine.

What is going on?
I added a media, then later upgraded it, removing the first one. I didn’t delete it yet from Plex.

Although Infuse at the bottom of the screen displays the new media, the fact that one of them is unavailable triggers the 503. If I delete the media, even without refreshing in Infuse, Play will do its job.

I’d love this to be fixed as this annoys me like several times a day

I don’t know if a very similar bug is still there: you had a media, Infuse sees it. You remain in the pre-launch (without refreshing), you upgrade the media, delete the old one and hit play. Infuse used not to refresh on its own if it hit a roadblock. I can test if uncertain.

If you have multiple versions of a title in Plex and need to select a different version (after the title has been played at least one in Infuse) you can long-press on the Play button to select an alternate version.

Simply tapping the Play button would select the version that was previously played, and if that item has been removed from Plex it could lead to an error like what you are seeing.

@james, I understand what you explain but I don’t understand why Infuse doesn’t solve the issue for me, playing the avail media? Don’t you think it’s a bug?
If Plex’s deplorable iOS app can do it, why can’t much better Infuse?
