Recently Added row and TV episode show

(Not sure if this is a support request, feature request or a Jellyfin behaviour so dropping in General)

I use Infuse with a Jellyfin server. On my Home Screen, the Recently Added bar along the top seems to be mandatory (or I’d just remove it) but it has a behaviour that I find unhelpful.

It will show the most recently added episode of a TV show. That is, of course, correct in terms of what the bar is titled. However if I’ve watched four episodes of a series then I’m not interested in knowing that episode eight is now available, I only care about episode five.

My preferred behaviour would be that a the episode shown in this bar is the newest unwatched episode of that series that’s been added to the collection - in this example, episode five - with the date added (for the purposes of sort order) being the date episode five joined my library.

Is there a route to do that? Or am I missing a benefit of this behaviour?

Thank you!

I believe you can choose what you see in the top bar by selecting options in the Up Next List in settings.

I’ll take a look, thank you!

Found it. That’s a different list though. I’m referring to the very top row of (landscape) tiles at the top of the screen, which seems not to be optional or customisable.

That should be the one. It controls the top row on the home screen.

Apologies, you’re right, was getting it confused with On Deck.

OK cool, have hidden it altogether.
