Real debried WebDAV is extremely slow

Hi,

I’m on the last version of infuse and have been updating it immediately when new versions have been coming out in the past few months just because of this issue.
Current version is 8.0.4

It’s got to the point where infuse is borderline unusable anymore as it’s either too slow to update through WebDAV or just stuck repeatedly while trying to update the library. I’ve started using another app called Vidhub that updates the library in a matter of seconds with WebDAV so I think this is confined to Infuse.

This is my one and only issue and I’ve been experiencing it for over a year now. I’m happy to provide any diagnostics you might need bc I’d love to continue using infuse and not other apps. But something is really wrong with the WebDAV updating… it’s not just slow, it’s crawling.

Please look into it so I won’t have to move to other apps, I want to use infuse. Thanks!

There are numerous changes in how Infuse scans your library in the last few updates so you may want to read through the users guide and fine tune things for your specific set up.

Wow okay… it’s definitely way faster now. Thanks for the suggestion. It was almost solely due to the pre cached settings change from on to off.

As a suggestion- I’d highly advise infuse to default these to off as the ‘out of the box’ experience is quite poor to the point that others like myself are purchasing other apps. This thread can be resolved

While that may work for you, many other users benefit from the current default settings. Now more users can, with the fine tuning get the most for their specific set up. :wink:
