Adding a star rating on Infuse on the Mac app do not appear on the ATV app on the ATV box.
The ratings have been synced but the display is not updated.
Doing a refresh does not make them appear, but opening the rating dialogue shows they have been synced. The only way to get them to appear is by selecting the star again.
On a related note, is it possible to remove the subjective word ratings in the star system. I use a 5 star rating (from my trusted UK reviews) where a 5 star rating is ‘Excellent’ but in Infuse it’s called ‘Meh’! Just using stars would be much better.
Infuse uses a 10 star rating scale, so you have a bit more control. For example, a 5/5 star rating somewhere else would be equivalent to a 10 star rating in Infuse. 5 stars in Infuse would equal 2.5/5 on other platforms.
Are you using Infuse Pro? Can you check to ensure the Pro logo is visible in Infuse > Settings on all devices?
Ratings are synced through iCloud so there are a few things you can check to ensure things are set up correctly. More info can be found in this guide.
Just for information this is on version 8.3.8 and using the Modern display.
As I said, I know the sync is working as opening the Rating dialogue shows the rating. It’s just that the rating does not appear on the display until the rate is entered again in the dialogue
Yes, the 8.3.9 update had some changes for iCloud so if you happen to be running 8.3.9 on one device and 8.3.8 on another then these would not actually sync.
