I read the getting started and other info and have been testing infuse for about a week now. I have it connected to a plex backend and have it running on an Apple TV 4k (newest stb)
Getting up to the delete episode button is not very easy. Especially since IF always wants to load the next episode so once I can get to that delete button its usually on the wrong episode.
Is there an easier way to delete the episode just watched?
Can I turn off the Next Episode stuff from coming up.
What does that Refresh Circle on the top actually refresh? Metadata?
Can I default to just the TVshows on the Home Screen? (in See All mode)
I was able to get rid of most, but I cannot seem to remove the Favorites which which has three useless (to me) buttons cluttering the screen. There is no “-” under edit home screen.
Can I use Infuse for pictures as a screen saver or is that only in ATV settings?
Can I turn off the Skip Credits? That really screws up trying to read some of the credits for location or something else we might want to know.
Hmm. Three days and not a peep. I guess I cannot do any of the things I am asking about, although I did figure out a better way to delete a show, so #1 is moot now. Don’t click the Back button, but use the Play/Pause button then the Delete Icon is right there and infuse hasn’t moved to the next episode like it was previously doing.
Maybe I need to figure out how to side load Kodi on my ATV…
For quite a while when using the default IF settings I would delete my “next” show instead of the show I just watched. Caused me to have to go onto my NAS and navigate to the USB backup drive to restore the accidentally deleted episode. I am not in front of my ATV now, but there is definitely a setting to stop it from automatically pointing to the next episode when you have completed watching an episode. Once I changed that, I have never deleted a “next” episode by mistake again.
That was set to Off. So I kept looking and found the fix, its called
Playback > Continuous Playback = Off
Now if I could only get rid of the home screens “Favorites” row…

PS. And even after rereading that Overview document I still don’t know what is being refreshed by that refresh button on the home screen…
