I was wondering if there was additional functionality available from the Harmony remote if it was used instead of the Apple TV remote? For instance, is/would it be possible to skip to the next chapter when playing a ripped DVD? The Apple TV remote is nice as a very simple controller, but I thought it would be possible to have much more flexible controls with the Harmony. If anyone has any info on this I’d like to hear about it, and if it’s not available now I would like to know if it could be added as a future feature to the aTV Flash Media Player.
I have the Harmony One remote and use it for both aTV & aTV2. It works best with XBMC but if you have a Harmony why bother with a second remote anyway? Yes you can skip forward to the next chapter when watching movies. You can control the volume of your system if you set the Harmony to control your AV Receiver unlike the apple remote. And more…
