QNAP NAS with enabled NFS not detected as share

Hi,

I have got a QNAP NAS TS-439 with enabled AFP, SMB and NFS protocolls. My ATV detects and shows it under AFP and SMB.
With the new firmware version I hoped it would also show it under NFS, but it does not show up. I enabled NFS on my MacBook and that shows up under Add Shares -> NFS.

I did give access to my ATVs IP-address under NFS shares on my QNAP NAS and the protocoll works well for a long time already with my Popcorn Hour mediastreamer.

Any idea if I can/have to configure something else on the ATV or on my QNAP to enable NFS?

If the Apple TV is not detecting your NFS share you can try setting it up manually by selecting the ‘Other’ option from the ‘Add Share’ menu.

This will allow to plug in your QNAP details manually, which may get you up and running.
