I works for more than 1,5 year with a TV flash, after installing the last update 13 februari
buffering starts immediately. I sent a question about this item to “Fire Core” get from them a number for technical
assistence, after more than a week waiting, I think they were reading the book of the writer “Remarque”," Am western front kein neues".
So I start to connect my AppleTv2 with my Mac, and bring back the ApleTv2 in the factory mode , start “season-pass” what I downloaded
new from Fire-Core webpage, after 5 times confronted with errors, suddenly out of the blue I get an update of "season-pass, I start the whole
procedure again, and I was very amused that everything works fine. After downloading aTV-flash back and installling, buffering is gone!
My conclusion is that the update Fire Core sent on febr 13 was not very well implemented.
My question to Firecore: Why you don,t inform your customers that you upgrade your “season Pass”,because there are a lot of questions about
buffering!!! Put this info on your website or sent an e-mail! That,s what they calling Aftersales.

I’m sorry for the trouble you were experiencing, but glad to hear everything is working well now. :)
Hello, I am having different problems (shares not found, playback error due to network not available), including this one (buffering).
Can I re-jaibreak with the new Season Pass and install FW 5.2 on my atv, even though I think Apple launched a new update for it?
Willy.

Possibly, though it would require you to have saved firmware signatures. More info on this can be found here.

Ok. This is what I did:
Back up settings
Back up firmware
Both back ups showed fine.
Open the new Season Pass and selected the previously downloaded FW (AppleTV2,1_5.2_10B144b_Restore.ipsw) but the program says my ATV2 is not compatible with that FW.
Should I let the program download the FW?
Ok I waited for the new download and everything went fine after that. Now iTunes says my ATV is not elegible.
What can I do now???
Well, the good thing is I still have a working Apple TV. But still need to know what to do about the “not elegible” problem. Is there a new new Season pass in the works?

What versions are listed when performing a firmware backup on the Apple TV?
It says 5.0.2, but I am running 5.2 on the ATV.
Does that mean that I won’t be able to re-jailbreak?
