Possible left and right channel audio adjustment before downmix to make dialogues louder

It might be very useful to be able to decrease the intensity of the left and right channels of the 5.1 audio by 2.5 Db or 5.0 Db or 7.5 Db (low, medium, and high adjustment) BEFORE the downmix in stereo. This would allow dialogue that is practically always in the center channel to be more audible (usually the left and right channels of 5.1 are dedicated to music and sound effects). The adjustment, if necessary, should remain stored title by title.
