Since I am definitely not a Mac person - things are going very slow. But I will share what I have learned so far. You must download the files on the Mac (windows unzips them differently). To download the IPSW file you have to turn off the feature to auto unzip the files after download. This is found by going to the Safari menu - then preferences and un-check open safe files after download on the general tab.

If firecore/seasonpass does not release there version when they say they will 1-2 weeks.
My version will go public after that time limit.

Well guys - I am stuck. I got to the point of patching the IPSW file, but it just keeps saying wrong firmware selected.
I can say now that it is working 100%. I am all up and running
