After updating Jellyfin to 10.11.0, the loading times when opening a series increased significantly, especially with series with many seasons and many episodes.
I suspect that something has changed in how the server responds to requests and that Infuse is now requesting information for all episodes and only opens once it has received information for the entire series, including episodes from all seasons. When opening a series, it takes up to 20 seconds, but once it loads, when you open another season, it loads immediately.
I don’t think it’s my Jellyfin server because if I open the same series from the official Jellyfin clients, it loads immediately.
This happens with iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. I am using Infuse Pro 8.3.
I am using direct mode.

If you want, I can record the screen, but basically, the more episodes the series has, the longer it takes to display the episode information, with some cases taking more than 20 seconds. And it doesn’t happen with movies
I’m seeing the same behavior in Direct Mode with Jellyfin 10.11. Loading time increases clearly with the number of seasons and episodes. It’s disruptive and makes Infuse frustrating to use. Other players don’t show this issue.
This is not an indictment on Infuse (could be Jellyfin’s “fault”), but that’s the only client that shows this problem, at least for me. I have all the Jellyfin clients in existence.
Besides the loading time, the other issue this causes is the Jellyfin database locks while Infuse is doing the long sync which causes issues for others using the server at the same time. For the time being I have to have users not use Infuse due to it locking things up for everyone while it syncs. Not sure if this helps in researching the issue, but thought another data point may help.
