Just tried this feature, great job! It seems that the optimal way to use it is to stop using the administrator account and switch exclusively to managed users. When I initially continued using the admin account, I ran into a few issues with duplicate entries in both the Continue Watching and Recently Added sections.
In my setup, I have two libraries pointing to the same content so another user can use a different metadata language. When watching content while logged in as the admin account, this resulted in duplicate items being added to Continue Watching. In Plex itself, I worked around it by unpinning the second library, but in Infuse I had to create a separate Plex Home user to avoid it.
The only issue I haven’t been able to resolve is that, on one of my two managed accounts, the Watchlist doesn’t appear on the home screen. It’s enabled in the layout configuration, and I’ve added several movies to it, but it never shows up. The Watchlist works correctly on the second managed account, so I’m not sure what’s causing the difference.
I was wondering if you can switch users for Plex when library mode is enabled for the Plex share? I was able to switch when library mode was off but can’t find the option when it’s on.
I like the layout options a bit better when library mode is enabled so prefer to have it on.
Profile switching isn’t available when using Library mode, but if you’re using an Apple TV you can create separate Apple TV profiles and log into different Plex profiles on each and use Library Mode that way.
