Plex collections always sort by release date in Infuse

I came here looking for a solution to a problem, but I’ve seen it’s been brought up many times without any fix, and the threads are already closed.

When I add a Plex collection, the “Sort” button is greyed out, so it can’t be selected. I assume that means it’s supposed to follow the order from Plex.

However, it doesn’t — it always sorts by release date. So it’s impossible to reorder them: it doesn’t take Plex’s order, and Infuse doesn’t allow manual sorting either.

Is this something that could be fixed, or is it just a Plex–Infuse limitation we’ll have to live with? :frowning:

As far as I understand (since it has been a while that I tested this), if you are in Library Mode, it will either sort Plex collections Alphabetically (if you have it set to that in Plex), or by Release Date (if you have it set to either Custom, or by Release Date in Plex).

If you use Direct Mode, it will use whatever the collection settings are in Plex; Custom, Release Date, Alphabetical.
