Hi, Jellyfin was giving me errors, so I decided to switch to Plex. I added the Plex server to my Apple TV, configured it, and everything works perfectly. I’ve set it to back up to iCloud and have syncing enabled. However, the Plex server doesn’t appear on my iPhone, iPad, or Mac; only another server I have (a hard drive connected to my router) appears, and that one syncs correctly. When I had Jellyfin, syncing between Apple devices also worked fine. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Plex will track each device connection separately (so you can revoke access to specific devices). For this reason, you would need to log into Plex on each individual device.
Logging into Trakt would allow Infuse to send watched info to your Trakt account.
However, Infuse will use the actual Plex server for tracking watched history and progress. So, for example, if you mark something as watched on the Trakt website that would not be reflected in Infuse.
Taking advantage of this post, so I don’t have to start a new one. I have a question that came up when migrating to Plex. I can change the order of the Watchlist based on when it was added, reviews, title, etc., but I can only do this on my iPhone, Mac, and iPad. I don’t see the option to do it on my Apple TV. Is it not possible?
