Plays the Media Player real 1080p or just 720p

Hello all,

I have one question. Does the Media Player 0.6 plays real 1080p or just 720p? I am asking, because on if I play a 1080p file on another hardware the picture looks much sharper and better. It looks that the Media Player 0.6 render a 1080p file to 720p.

The AppleTV is currently limited to a max of 720p output, so 1080p files will be played at 720p.
