Playing ripped dvd's (video_ts) on remote shares

This looks really cool and I’m excited but I wanted to get a definitive answer before I purchase.

My only goal with the AppleTV is the play DVD’s that I’ve ripped in video_ts format off a NAS that I have.

Is this possible without any tweaks?
