Playback Errors with Specific Blu-ray .iso Files

I’m experiencing playback issues with three specific Blu-ray .iso files in Infuse 8.3.1 on my Apple TV 4K (3rd generation). These exact same files play perfectly in other media players, which confirms the video files themselves have no issues. The problems in Infuse are:

  1. One file displays an error: “An error occurred. Failed to complete the operation. (com.firecore.media.player error 1.0.)” – screenshot attached.

  2. Another file causes the Infuse app to crash and exit immediately when starting playback.

  3. The third file plays for about 30-40 minutes, then suddenly switches to a different video in my library without any user input.

Would it be possible for me to send these .iso files directly to the respected developers for testing? I sincerely hope this can be fixed in the coming months – it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for your amazing work on Infuse.

You may want to send in a diagnostics report after each of these occurs and post the 5 digit code here. Don’t forget to say what error goes with each code here.

OK，I have sent an email to hello@firecore.com as instructed, and the code used in my technical diagnostic report is NPZYW.

For which of the three videos? It’d probably help to have a report for each one.

  1. The diagnostic report code for the first video is D94CW.The video issue report reads, “An error occurred. The operation could not be completed. (com.firecore.media.player Error 1.0.)” — Screenshot attached.

  2. The diagnostic report code for the second video is TS05D.The video issue report states that after playing a video file for a few seconds, the Infuse app is redirected to the home screen, causing the Infuse app to crash.

  3. The code for the third video is 83V0Y.The video issue report states that when playing the video up to 45 minutes and 45 seconds, the video stutters for a few seconds, and a button to continue playing or start playing from the beginning pops up.
    It should be noted that these three .iso video files play normally on other players, but have problems playing on Infuse. We hope the developers can fix this.
    As instructed above, I have sent three email addresses to htllo@firecore.com, along with screenshots and videos from the corresponding videos.

I hope the developer can let me upload the video to the developer’s cloud disk to solve my problem. Thank you, developers. I’m sure that it’s caused by the video decoding error of the infuse player. There is no problem playing the video file on some other players that can play .iso videos.

I am experiencing a playback issue with a specific ISO file on Infuse. I have already uploaded the problematic video file to my Dropbox for your analysis.

Here are the specific details:

  1. File Name:
    火星人玩转地球（1996）1080P蓝光原盘[DIY 国语DD.5.1 简体字幕][DTS-HDMA 5.1].iso
    (English Title: Mars Attacks! 1996)

  2. Issue Description:
    When playing this file, the video works fine until it reaches the 00:45:45 mark.

  • At this specific timestamp, the video stutters and freezes for a few seconds.
  • Then, a prompt pops up asking me to either “Resume” or “Start Over”.
  • I am unable to play past this point smoothly.

    I have 2 other problematic video files that I will be uploading to you within the next 48 hours. I will update you once those uploads are complete.

I have uploaded two problematic ISO files to the Dropbox link for your analysis. Here are the specific details regarding the playback issues I am encountering with these files:

  1. File Name: 美国往事（1984）1080P蓝光原盘[意大利高码原盘 导演剪辑加长版 DIY 三国配音轨 国配简繁英特效八字幕 IG菜单修改新增按钮].iso

Issue: After playing for a few seconds, the Infuse app crashes and redirects immediately to the Apple TV home screen.

  1. File Name: 搏击俱乐部（1999）1080P蓝光原盘[CEE版原盘 十周年纪念版 DIY国语 简繁 双语字幕 纯特效字幕 导评字幕].iso

Issue: The video fails to play and displays the following error message: “An error occurred. The operation could not be completed. (com.firecore.media.player error 1.)”
