Wanted to post about this because it’s getting really annoying.
Message: The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.firecore.media.- player error 1.)
I continually get this when watching videos that are uncompressed it seems. Pushing high bitrates around 100+ mbit files from my plex server. I do not understand why infuse hides logs from its users, would honestly make your lives easier for me to troubleshoot first before posting but wanted to communicate this problem.
I’ve seen other threads describing this issue with no movement at all on this forum and Reddit.
Reproducing:
It happens randomly. Watching movie, then randomly starts buffering which then resolves to this message after a few seconds of waiting. I cannot reproduce if I replay the same scene that an error occurred on previous it plays back fine no issue so it’s not the video.
If I’m watching compressed movies with significantly lower bitrate this behavior never occurs… when I’m watching content that is remux it typically occurs.
Fix:
All I do is restart the app and it playback resumed with no issue at all, until it happens again.
The plex app on ATV never has this problem, I’ve seen the same behavior occur on Infuse for IOS also.
Setup:
Running recent version of plex in kubernetes.
Infuse is running on newest Apple TV 4K hardware.
Can get versions if needed.
