I have been having this issue randomly for the last few versions.
Sometimes I start a video and it just shows a black screen. It’s as if I pressed pause on 0:00. If I press play, it works.
This is on ATV4k Gen 3. I have a great network, it’s pulling from a Synology NAS. Originally used SMB (200-300Mbps on share speed test). Recently moved to NFS (300-400Mbps) so I don’t think speed is the issue.
I tried changing to Legacy & memory only buffering mode. No change. I am using AI upscaling and this issue doesn’t seem to happen on resume - only when starting up.
It seems totally random. Restarting the same video doesn’t trigger it and the videos where it happened don’t have a particular trait, format, size or bitrate.
