Play not working, app restore screen

Hi, I’m new to the forum. I’m Italian, but I’m writing in English, hoping to make myself understood.

I downloaded the new Infuse 8.2.3 app and started uploading movies to my library from my Mac.
Besides the slow metadata scanning, the main problem is that when I press play from a movie screen, the screen goes black with the loading wheel spinning, but after a few seconds, instead of starting the movie, a full-screen prompt to restore the app appears.
I should point out that I never purchased the app, and even clicking restore doesn’t do anything, and this happens with all the movies in my library.
Is this happening to anyone else? Basically, I can’t watch anything.
What procedure should I take for this problem? I’m hoping for some help.

Sorry your having problems, could you provide a screen capture what you’re seeing when you get the full screen prompt?

Some video types will require a Pro license, so if you are seeing an upgrade prompt when playing a particular video then it’s likely the video/audio type contained inside the file will require Pro.

There are a handful of video/audio types that require Pro, but the most common ones are files that contain Dolby or DTS audio.

Please, where can I find a list of videos and audio files that are usable in the free version?
I don’t think I can edit the videos in my library to allow viewing of my movies.

What may be a better test instead of trying to figure out if what files to play with the free version would be to start a subscription to Infuse and try your videos instead.

I’m pretty sure that an Infuse subscription includes a free trial period that begins once your purchase has been confirmed with your iTunes Account. Then when the trial period concludes, your subscription will start and renew automatically.

I think the annual subscription to Infuse Pro has a one month free trial of the pro features but I’m not sure what the monthly subscription to Infuse Pro has for a free trial period.
