Play directly from idrive PRo (expanded memory)

Hi
I have purchased an expanded memory for ipad called idrive pro - Is it possible to watch movies directly from expanded memory like IDrive Pro (i can see that sandisk are supportedb, but is it possible to use others).
It is possible to copy the movie to infuse , but takes a while.

It is for offline watching

Unfortunately not. The SanDisk iXpand is the only external drive that is supported at this time. Fortunately, the iXpand drives have come down a bit in price lately, and they’re available on Amazon. http://amzn.to/2gdMQgZ

For a bit of background, each external MFi device requires a separate integration plus approval from Apple, and most smaller companies simply do not have 3rd party developer programs available.

Is the new SanDisk iXpand with 256 GB also compatible?
