Audio incl. hi-res FLAC/ALAC playback on ATV4 would be great!
I would also very much appreciate camera photo/video support with library functionality even if a separate paid “Infuse photo” app specifically for Apple TV. It is actually shocking how poor the choices are for photo management and display on the biggest screen in the house currently–I think there is great opportunity there. Apple photos, MrMC, Plex, various fileexplorer apps and all the me-too cloud based apps all fall on their face in some way or many ways. Something that will stream LOCAL camera photo and video with an actual nice to look at interface, folder navigation, favorites, no faff with servers and transcoding or cloud services, hook into good native apple slideshow capability, and some library functionality/categorization would be GREATLY appreciated and would happily pay.

I would be great if Infuse on tvOS would support viewing picture and playing music files on plex server.
I’m quite impressed with the Infuse video playback performance and I can say it’s the best on tvOS. However I still have to rely on Plex client to view photo and play music. Infuse has a great potential to replace Plex client.
I hope you would consider my suggestions.

I love the video capabilities of Infuse. But like many of users I have a large collection of music and photo files on my NAS and it would be great to be able to utilize Infuse for all of my media.

I do absolutely agree. I would love to have sacd support, including 5.1 and more.
Infuse is playing audio bluerays, which is really great. But having sacds, flac etc. would make infuse even greater.

photo support is overdue for a long time now. especially when i see upcoming homekit und phillips hue support, it makes me angry. i mean, are you serious? hue before photos and music (requested for years now)?? makes me wanna cancel my subsciption…

I moved from Kodi to atv4k to infuse. Love this video app.
Still looking for an app to handle my music and pictures. I was hoping as many others that infuse would add these features. Appears By the long delay, they are going to stay video only.
Upside is do one thing and do it right.
Downside is if I find an app to handle music and pictures, and it also does video, I will have to drop infuse and start over again.
Infuse is missing an opportunity of becoming the Superior app on Apple TV.

Would love to see photo slideshow function. I’ve looked for suitable apps to turn my old ipad into a photo frame and there’s nothing that will do photos from my extensive NAS collection. I don’t really want to connect an app to my google photos account.

Infuse provide by far the best movie experience on the Apple TV
Whenever I want to show photos to family located on my nas I need to revert To some basic application like synology ds photo
I can’t use the photos app of the Apple TV as my entire collection 40.000 photos is not synced is I cloud
I would love to get the same experience for photos than the one I get for movies
With function like slideshows of different types, zoom, display info, favorite…
Same for music , I have all my music in flac (lossless compression) that is not supported by Apple iTunes
Infuse would then become my unique entry point to all my medias on my nas

Just want to push this request forward.
My use-cases are only focused on photos and small family videos.
At the moment I’m using KODI on RASPI with a lot of manual effort.
As soon firecore would support it, I would purchase APTV + infuse

I also think that this would be great.
As far as I know there is no good app on the AppleTV to view photos.
Support for IPTC, EXIF and XMP would be great.
(i)Cloud is something I don’t want to use.
