Personal metadata with STRMLNK

Is it possible to choose our metadata for STRMLNK files? In other words, put poster, logo and fanart in the same folder for Infuse to use those images? Because I’m trying that with the STRMLNKs and it’s not working.

Yes, this should be available.

Where are you storing the STRMLNK files? Some share types (including UPnP and a number of cloud services) will not support using external files to override file details.

They’re stored on my Mac and I share the folder via SMB

I use tinyMediaManager to create posters, fan art and descriptions (with a dummy .mkv file) which are all stored in the same folder as the strmlnk.

Works just fine.

Tiny Media Manager did the work! Thanks!

My strmlnk is not showing cast and crew. Is that normal?

Also, is there a way to add resolution and HDR format throught nfo to the strmlnk?

The other thing that is missing is the film length. It’s not a huge problem though.

Edit: the film length is in the nfo file but not picked up by Infuse.

Yes, the runtime as well. I don´t know if there’s a way to add that info with an nfo file.
Is this possible @James ?

Not that I’ve found.

Cast and Crew is picked up from the nfo file as my screenshot shows.

What nfo format you use in Tiny to show the images of cast and crew?

Cast and crew will be picked up if you are using the same format as the example NFO linked in the guide. This will need to include the TMDB ID info for each person in order to have these cast members linked to other titles in your library. You can include a link to your own image file if you like, but this isn’t needed if you’re using the TMDB IDs.

Runtime is generated from the actual video file, and since there isn’t a video file Infuse is able to read here this won’t be available. Sorry.

No NFO is needed for cast and crew, all of my STRMLNK files are stored alongside a poster and fanart for each movie,Infuse uses my artworks but all metadata is automatically created just like all my other movies that are MKVs
