Persistent zombie folders - can't delete

Apologies if this has been addressed. I couldn’t find it.

I’m using the share view and in one of my favourites folders I have 3 subfolders for seasons of tv shows that are no longer in that share. When I open the folder the shows are there and when I select an episode it says it can’t play, which is fine because I know it doesn’t exist in that location. Problem is, I can’t get rid of them. They’re not there to delete from the share and I’ve even tried recreating the folder and transferring everything over but they’re still there.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance, Simon

Welcome to the forum!

What type of device are you streaming from? Are you using UPnP/DLNA by chance to connect?

Thanks, James. I appreciate your response.

I’m using the server software built in to my Synology NAS (DS 414) which shows in my Infuse menus as “Server (UPnP)”

One thing you may try is removing the UPnP based share, and setting up a new one using SMB.

SMB will provide direct access to your folders, which should help avoid issues like this.

That seems to have done it. Thanks very much for your help, James
