Downloaded version 3.1 - dutifully erased the patchstick I bought from you and followed instructions to install. After typing in my password, I get the message “Cannot change permissions”. Any ideas?

Make sure you are entering your correct password during the install. If you dont have a password on your computer, you will need to set one up temporarily.
I am entering the correct password - I have tried this several times now. I recall seeing a problem with permissions on the patchstick on other sites. Do you have any insights on this?
Is the account you are using to install an admin account, or just a regular account?
